AgreeStat for SASThe two SAS macro programs are presented on this page are agreestat2raters.sas for the analysis of contingency tables, and agreestat_raw.sas for the analysis of raw ratings. Each of these two SAS macro programs is suffficiently well commented to allow the user to quickly learn how they should be used. These macros can be downloaded by clicking on their names.
- agreestat2raters.sas: This SAS macro allows you to analyze ratings obtained from 2 raters and summarized in a contingency table similar to Table 2.1 below (from the Handbook of Inter-Rater Reliability, 4th edition). This macro computes various chance-corrected agreement coefficients along with their standard errors, confidence intervals, and p-values.
- agreestat_raw.sas: This SAS macro allows you to analyze raw ratings obtained from 2 or more raters. The input data file is organized in series of columns (2 or more) as shown below. Each column represents the ratings assigned by a rater to the subjects being rated. This macro can handle missing ratings (represented by a period).
The FREQ procedure of SAS has some limited capability to do inter-rater reliability analysis. These limitations and how to resolve them are documented in my book entitled "Inter-Rater Reliability with SAS: A Practical Guide for Nominal, Ordinal, and Interval Data."
